Okinawa, Day 2

First thing I see when I wake up in the morning: the beautiful Okinawan sky

Woah, look at how packed together the houses are.

Sightseeing time. Shuri Castle:

How grand, even the faucets in the bathroom are dragon heads:

The ever present good luck charms. Each pair (one with mouth open to draw luck and one with mouth closed to retain luck) will bring you luck in various areas, depending on the color.

Next stop, the limestone formations of Gyokusendo Caves

A cute little drummer boy at the Gyokusendo Cave Kingdom Village

The making of the popular "black sugar"

A fantastic way to end the day: relaxing at the beach (Rizzan Sea Park Resort)

The beautiful sky seen from underwater

Dinner!

"Sea grapes"

And bitter melon. Very tasty, similar yet different from the ones we have in HK.

Even after the great meal, I still had to visit Lawson for a Jumbo:
