Happy Lantern Festival

Today is the 15th day of the Lunar New Year, also known as Lantern Festival. According to astronomers, tonight's full moon is the biggest and roundest to fall on Lantern Festival in 52 years. The distance between the moon and the Earth is estimated to be aboput 365,000 km, roughly 19,000 km shorter than the average distance.

FYI, the brownish tint is due to the fact that was a penumbral eclipse (where the earth gets between the sun and the moon and shades some of the sunlight) tonight.
