An Unfortunate Coincidence

Call me shallow, but when I heard that Barack Obama had chosen Joe Biden as his running mate I thought to myself "It's not enough that 'Obama' is 1 letter away from America's most hated enemy, he has to take on a running mate who's last name is a contraction of said enemy's surname?"

I dunno about you, but if I was in the US now and I saw a "Vote Obama/Biden" banner go by on a bus, I'd definitely do a double take.

Ha, John McCain vs. Osama Biden...sounds like the premise for "Die Hard 5"

Finally gave the Freshness Burger chain a try. OK, I guess but I prefer MOS.

It's not really an issue of price but value. I ordered the Hawaii Double buger (that's a slice a pineapple you see in the middle) and it wasn't bad, but for $50 I expected a little more. I'd rather pay $90 for the Gang Bang at Shake Em Buns because it feels like I'm getting more...errrrm, bang for the buck.

Back at it again

Been so busy at work that I haven't had much time to do anything else. Thank goodness for sunny weekends.

My aircon broke down a few nights ago and because it's been so insanely hot I ended up developing a bit of a flu. Didn't stop me from going wakeboarding today.


Finally getting the hang of doing ollies.

Then again, maybe not.

EDIT: Monday morning, fever of 102. Still think it was worth it though.
